1½ fl oz (37 ml) tequila
1 fl oz (25 ml) cointreau
1 fl oz (25 ml) lime juice
ice cubes as required
coarse sea salt enough to dip the rim of glass(es)
1 slice(s) of lime
Apply some lime juice to the rim of margarita glass(es) and dip the rim in salt.
Shake the tequila, cointreau and the lime juice with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
Strain the mixture into the salt-rimmed margarita glass(es) and serve decorated with slice(s) of lime.
